George A.W. Lamond

Lieutenant Colonel George A.W. Lamond (1878 or 1879 – 25 February 1918) was a Scottish rugby union player. He was killed in World War I.
He served in the Royal Engineers (Inland Water Transport). He is buried in the non-conformist section of Colombo (Kanatte) General Cemetery, known locally as Borella Cemetery, in Borella, a suburb of Columbo, Sri Lanka.

He played for Kelvinside Academicals and was capped for Scotland in 1899-1905.
